Chariots of Fire is a classic for my family. When my parents went to Scotland in 2015, they visited St. Andrews, and Mom took a picture of Dad running along the beach where the epic opening sequence was filmed. They returned a couple of weeks ago, and this time, Mom took a video of Dad running along that same beach.
When I visited Waiheke Island for the Fourth of July, I saw the long stretch of Onetangi Beach and knew what I had to do. My friend took a video of the run, and I put together a small piece and put it on Facebook.
Mom loved it. So last night, I received a message that a file had been shared with me via Google Drive.
“It was suggested that I send you this video and have you mesh it or something with your video… : )”
So I did.
