Calving season has continued to have its bumps, but there are 11 calves on the ground.
And now, lambing season has begun!

It began right on schedule, and so far, there are five lambs milling about the two sheep pens: three Shetland rams and two Shropshire/Shetland cross ewes. I didn’t have a Shropshire ram this year, just a Shetland one, so decided to cross them. The crosses have soft Shetland ears, lanky Shropshire bodies, and a combination tail, with a round start and a triangular end.

There are three more ewes left to lamb! Can’t wait to see what they’ll be like!
